Job Search Over the Holidays: Networking & Researching

12 Dec 2019
3:00pm - 4:00pm EST

Hiring for new jobs slows down in December. That doesn't mean that you have to wait out the holiday season. This webinar will help you reframe this time as a goldmine of networking opportunities and will give you activities to work on to strengthen your job search for when things pick back up in January.

  • What to do when job postings are sparse
  • Taking advantage of holiday parties
  • Planning for networking: elevator pitch, what to ask for, how to follow-up
  • Research, relax, rejuvenate
  • Planning your job search

This webinar will be led by Dr. Ronda Ansted. Dr. Ansted has spent most of her professional life in the non-profit and international development fields. She was a mid-career PCV in South Africa and became a career consultant after seeing how so many people who wanted to make a difference in the world got burned out after choosing careers that looked good on paper but didn't fit who they are. Her practice is dedicated to getting people into their right-fit careers so they can make a meaningful impact in the world and live a life they love.
